No chance - the Stermann gegen Grissemann Show was a television show produced by neulandfilm & medien GmbH on behalf of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation , which implemented the concept of a game show in a satirical way.
The show was canceled because of the poor ratings for the first episode.
Broadcast principle
The principle of the television program No Chance - The Stermann Against Grissemann Show consists in having two completely contrary teams compete against each other in different disciplines in order to finally choose a winner with the help of the moderators. The style of the show is always sarcastic, with elements of well-known TV shows being parodied. The choice of candidates for the two teams is made in such a way that opposites arise, which creates an "unfair" pairing of candidates from the start, which is intended to underline the satirical character of the program (e.g. team doctors versus team sick people or team police officers versus team Asylum seekers).
Shipment history
At the beginning of the broadcast, two candidate teams, each with three candidates, are presented by the moderator duo Stermann & Grissemann , with one moderator each presenting the candidates from a team that he also supports during the broadcast. Then seven game rounds are played, with the two teams having to solve different tasks from different areas, such as skill or knowledge. The team that solves the task faster or better receives points, the amount of which depends on the round of the game. The moderator of the other team will be punished or humiliated for the failure.
After the seventh game round, the two moderators compete against each other in a final game, whereby the moderator whose team has earned more points due to the previous game rounds starts with a point-dependent advantage. The team whose moderator wins the final game receives prize money of 1,000,000 cents .
