The Kelmelis Hills are a group of up to 1070  m high hills in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Denton Hills, they tower on the eastern flank of the Blue Glacier between the Brodie Ponds and the Joyce Glacier .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1992 after John A. Kelmelis, cartographer of the United States Geological Survey and there from 1984 to 1987 manager of the polar program.
