The Kelp Point is one of kelp -lined promontory on the north coast of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It limits the entrance from Stromness Bay to Husvik Harbor to the south .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped and descriptively named them during the study period between 1926 and 1930.
