Blockhusuddens Flyttblock

The Blockhusuddens Flyttblock (also Blockhusuddsblocket ) is a large boulder that lies on the shores of the Baltic Sea on the Blockhusudden peninsula in the east of Djurgården , a district of Stockholm in Sweden .

At the time of Gustav Vasa in the 16th century, there was a block house called a defensive building made of wood and stone to defend the ship entry into Stockholm, which gave the cape its current name.

The erratic boulder is the best known on Djurgården. From the boulder you have a view of Fjäderholmarna and the entrance to Stockholm.
