Ken'ichi Ogawa

Ken'ichi Ogawa ( Japanese 尾 川 堅 一 , Ogawa Ken'ichi ; born February 1, 1988 in Toyohashi , Japan ) is a Japanese professional boxer in super featherweight .

Career

In 2010 Ogawa successfully began his professional career with a victory by TKo in round 3 in a 4-round fight against his compatriot Chikashi Hayashizaki. On December 9, 2017, he boxed against the American Tevin Farmer for the vacant IBF World Championship and won by split judges' decision (115: 113, 116: 112, 112: 116). However, he was tested positive in the subsequent doping control . Thereupon the victory was converted into a "No Contest" and the title was revoked.
