Louis Langlois
Louis Langlois (born May 21, 1872 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye ( Yvelines Department ); died September 5, 1938 in Paris ) was a French military , archaeologist and explorer .
He was a Brigadier General , Officer in the Legion of Honor and Attaché at the French Embassy in the United States. He was a member of the Société des américanistes de Paris . His work on pre-Columbian America and the European conquest ( L'Amérique pré-colombienne et la conquête européenne , 1928) was included in the broad world history ( Histoire du monde ) published under the direction of the historian Eugène Cavaignac (1876-1969 ) .
