Ken'ichirō Tokura ( Japanese 戸 倉 健 一郎 , Tokura Ken'ichirō ; born May 31, 1971 in Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Tokura learned to play football on the school team at Toin Gakuen High School and the university team at Aoyama Gakuin University . He signed his first contract with Verdy Kawasaki in 1994 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . With the club he became Japanese champion in 1994 . For the club he completed 39 first division games. In 1997 he moved to the second division side Kawasaki Frontale . For the club he completed 20 games. He then played with Gamba Osaka (1998), Kyoto Purple Sanga (1999), Verdy Kawasaki (1999) and Shonan Bellmare (2001). At the end of 2001 he ended his career as a football player.
