Ken Hiscoe (born January 21, 1938 in Sydney ) is a former Australian squash player .
Career
Ken Hiscoe was active as a squash player in the 1960s and 1970s. Initially active as an amateur, he became a professional player in 1971. With the Australian national team he took part in the World Cup in 1967 , 1969 and 1971 and won the world title in all three participations. From 1964 to 1971 he was the captain of the team that remained undefeated during this period. In 1976 , he was able to reach the quarter-finals at the first World Cup. In the course of his professional career he won a total of 20 titles by 1978 and was ranked number one in the world. Between 1960 and 1967 he won the Australian Open seven times .
After his professional career, Hiscoe continued to play at senior level and was also active as a coach, including for the US national team . In 2005 he was inducted into the Squash Australia Hall of Fame .
