Kenji Uematsu

Kenji Uematsu Treviño (born October 28, 1976 in Santurtzi ) is a Spanish judoka.

Uematsu celebrated its first international success in 1995 when it won the European Junior Championship. The following year he was able to defend this title and also became Junior World Champion in Porto .

With the seniors he fought his way to the top of the world in various A tournaments and Super A tournaments. In 2003 he injured his back during the European Championships in Düsseldorf.

After his recovery he won the 2004 A-tournament in Minsk and traveled to the Olympic Summer Games in Athens as a hope for a medal , where he finally finished 5th.
