Kennett Ridge is a 10 km long ridge in the Darwin Mountains of the Transantarctic Mountains . It rises to the east from the northeast end of the Midnight Plateau .
Participants of the 1962-1963 campaign as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions mapped and named him. Name giver is James Peter Kennett (* 1940), a participant of the research trip.
