Kenta Kanō ( Japanese 狩 野 健 太 Kanō Kenta ; born May 2, 1986 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kanō learned to play soccer on the school team at Shizuoka Gakuen High School . He signed his first contract with Yokohama F. Marinos in 2005 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club, he completed 107 first division games. In 2013 he moved to league competitor Kashiwa Reysol . In 2013 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club he completed 34 first division games. In 2016 he moved to league rivals Kawasaki Frontale . With the club he became Japanese champion in 2017 . For the club he completed seven top division games. In 2018 he moved to the second division side Tokushima Vortis . For the club he completed 29 league games. At the end of 2019, he ended his career as a football player.
