Kento Hashimoto ( Japanese 橋本 拳 人 , Hashimoto Kento ; born August 16, 1993 in Tokyo , Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player.

Career

He has played for FC Tokyo since he was a teenager . In 2012 he signed his first professional contract here. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . From May 2013 to December 2014 he was loaned to the second division club Roasso Kumamoto from Kumamoto . For Kumamoto, he completed 60 second division games. In 2015 he played twice in the J.League U-22 Selection . This team, which played in the third division, the J3 League , was made up of the best young players from the higher-class clubs. The team was founded with a view to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . The players were selected on a weekly basis from a pool for which each club was able to name talented individuals worth promoting; the composition of the team therefore varied greatly from game to game.

National team

After playing for the Japanese U-19 and U-23 national team, he played his first full international match for Japan on March 26, 2019 in a friendly against Bolivia .
