Kerstin Hack

Kerstin Hack (born April 24, 1967 in Coburg ) is a German English scholar , ethnologist , author, editor, publisher, speaker and coach.

Life

Hack grew up in the Upper Franconian village of Steppach and studied modern English literature and ethnology in Tübingen and Singapore with a focus on intercultural communication . After completing her studies, she worked as an employee and manager in an international organization that advised churches on projects abroad, held conferences and seminars and produced publications.

In 2000, Hack founded her own publishing house and a consulting firm called Down to Earth , where she publishes books and work materials on life and belief topics. She herself has written over 50 works on Christian practice and on active and conscious lifestyle, some of which have also been translated into English, Dutch, Japanese and Hungarian. She has also written two books on the American bestselling novel Die Hütte .

Through further training in the bottleneck-focused strategy , which was developed by the German economist and management consultant Wolfgang Mewes and the American psychologist Marshall B. Rosenberg , she became a systemic coach, supervisor and trainer for non-violent communication.
