Kerstin Sacks

Kerstin Sacks (* around 1978 ) is a German strength athlete .

Life

In 2010 Sacks became world champion in bench press in the weight class up to 67.5 kg at the World United Amateur Powerlifting (WUAP) championship in Tyrnau, Slovakia . In 2011 she was able to repeat the success at the World Powerlifting and Benchpress Championships of the WUAP in Atlanta ( USA ), this time with 65 kilograms. At the 2012 World Championships in Germany, she was runner-up with 65 kilograms.

She later competed on the international stage in the Submasters category and was able to win world championship titles in 2013 (57.5 kilograms) and 2016 (52.5 kilograms). Appearances and title wins in the Masters division at Saxony-Anhalt state championships followed.

It starts for the Magdeburg- based club SV Friedensweiler .

Award

In 2010, Sacks was allowed to enter the Golden Book of the City of Magdeburg in recognition of her sporting success as a strength athlete at the World Championships .
