The Kesagami Lake is a lake in Cochrane District in the Canadian province of Ontario .
Kesagami Lake is 80 km south of James Bay and 140 km north of Cochrane . The lake measures approximately 22 km in north-south direction and 10 km in east-west direction. In the southeast he has a 20 km long narrow side bay, Newnham Bay , into which the Kesagami River flows. The lake has no other noteworthy tributaries. The Kesagami River leaves the lake on the northeast bank. The lake has an area of approximately 150 km². The mean water depth is only two meters. The lake is 205 m high and lies in the area of the Canadian Shield .
The lake is entirely located in Kesagami Provincial Park .
Kesagami Lake is a destination for fishing and canoeing tourists. These usually reach the remote lake by seaplane. Mainly pike and eyeglasses are caught in the lake .
