Mita climate

Mita air (* 1892 / 1893 ; † April 1945 in Berlin-Wannsee , married Mita Kribben ) was an Austrian tennis player .

Life

Klima took part in the Wimbledon Championships in 1907 at the age of 14 , but was eliminated in the first round against Madeleine O'Neill with 1: 6 and 2: 6. She was the youngest participant in Wimbledon until the appearance of Jennifer Capriati in 1990.

On August 11, 1915, she married the factory owner and tennis player Curt Kribben. It was a double wedding at which his sister Erna Kribben married the tennis player Friedrich Wilhelm Rahe .

In the early 1930s she became the sports director at the Berlin-Wannsee Golf and Country Club. When the clubhouse was destroyed by artillery shells from the Red Army in April 1945, Klima was killed.
