The Keuco GmbH & Co. KG (proper spelling: KEUCO ) is a provider of bathroom equipment. The company's range includes fittings , accessories , mirror cabinets, vanities and bathroom furniture. Keuco has been headquartered in Hemer since it was founded in 1953 . Further production sites are in Gütersloh and Bünde .
history
The foundation stone of Keuco was laid in 1879 with the establishment of the company "Turk & Bolte" from Iserlohn . In 1953, Paul Keune and Hermann Bönner, with the support of Eduard Baron de Becker Remy and Josef Himrich, founded "Paul Keune & Co. KG" in Becke, which was still independent at the time . In 1984 the current name Keuco was created from the company name Paul Keune & Co. KG . In 1960, the company moved to a new, larger company headquarters a few hundred meters from the original plant. After further expansion in the 1970s, the goods distribution center was built in 1995.
With the takeover of the then largest competitor "Turk & Bolte" from Iserlohn in 1986, Keuco became the market leader in the bathroom accessories sector. In 1987, Keuco acquired the Herford-based manufacturer of kitchen and bathroom furniture "Herzküche" and was able to manufacture bathroom furniture itself from then on. The mirror cabinet manufacturer "Twick & Lehrke" from Gütersloh was taken over in 1995. Keuco has been manufacturing fittings since 2002. These are manufactured in Hemer.

The company is owned by the De Becker Remy and Himrich families and the König family. The main shareholders are all family members of the company founders. Keuco is led by Engelbert Himrich as managing partner and the managing director Hartmut Dalheimer.
Keuco has received design awards for various bathroom furnishing concepts and products, such as the Red Dot Award , Design Plus Award , IF Design Award and the Iconic Award.

Keuco's headquarters are in Hemer . The company opened the first of 72 international branches in Belgium in 1963.
