Massimiliano Rosolino (born July 11, 1978 in Naples ) is an Italian swimmer .

Career

At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney he was Olympic champion in the 200 m medley and was able to collect further medals with silver in the 400 m freestyle and bronze in the 200 m freestyle. In 2001 he was world champion over 200 m medley at the world championships in Fukuoka . At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens , he won the bronze medal with the Italian 4 × 200 m freestyle relay. At the 2006 European Swimming Championships , he won the silver medal in the 200 m and 400 m freestyle and was European champion with the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay.
