He also competed in the 200 m freestyle in Seoul, where he was fourth, and over 1500 m, over which he was eliminated in the prelim. His country's 4 × 200-meter freestyle relay did not make it into the final. At the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona he could not reach the finals over 200 or 400 m.

Wojdat won two bronze medals at the swimming world championships , namely over 200 m and 400 m freestyle in 1991 in Perth (200 m: 1: 48.70; behind Giorgio Lamberti and Steffen Zesner - 400 m: 3: 49.67; behind Jörg Hoffmann and Stefan Pfeiffer ). At the 1993 Short Course World Championships in Palma there was again bronze over 200 m, this time behind Antti Kasvio and Trent Bray .

Wojdat was European champion at the European Swimming Championships in 1989 in Bonn over 400 m, this time ahead of Stefan Pfeiffer, and in 1991 in Athens over 200 m freestyle ahead of Lamberti.

In Poland, Wojdat was a total of 20 Polish champions between 1985 and 1991 and achieved 37 Polish records on the 50-meter track and 17 on the short track.
