Kevin Casey

Kevin Casey (born 1940 in Kells , Ireland ) is an Irish author.

Life

He was born the son of a school principal. After attending school in his birthplace, he studied at Blackrock College in Dublin . He began to write plays and published short stories in magazines in Ireland , USA and England as well as in anthologies . He also worked as a literary critic for Irish newspapers. He wrote literary programs for Raidió Teilifís Éireann . He also wrote novels.

Awards

In 1968 he received the Macauley Fellowship of the Arts Council of the Republic of Ireland.
