Kevin Van Impe
Kevin Van Impe (born April 19, 1981 in Aalst ) is a former Belgian cyclist .
Career
Kevin Van Impe started his career in 2002 with the Belgian cycling team Lotto . In 2003 he celebrated his first success, a stage win in the Rhineland-Palatinate Tour . For the 2005 season Van Impe switched to the Belgian Professional Continental Team Chocolade Jacques-T Interim . Here he came second at Kuurne – Brussels – Kuurne and the Belgian championship. From 2006 to 2011 he drove for the ProTeam Quick · Step-Innergetic and in 2009 he won the one-day race Dwars door Vlaanderen .
In March 2012 Kevin Van Impe announced his immediate retirement from active cycling and left his job for the Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team .

Kevin Van Impe is the son of former cyclist Frank Van Impe and the nephew of the 1976 Tour de France winner Lucien Van Impe .
