Kewullay Conteh (born December 31, 1977 in Freetown ) is a former football player from Sierra Leone . He played in the position of defender .

Career

Conteh joined the 1995/96 season to Atalanta , after a season he joined Chievo Verona in the Serie B . In his second season in Verona he made the leap into the regular formation. For the 2000/01 season Conteh moved to league rivals AC Venice , where he was immediately used regularly and in the first season managed promotion to the Serie A . In the following Serie A season, things didn't go so well for Venice and the club was relegated to Serie B again. For the 2002/03 season Conteh moved to US Palermo , where he became a regular player in his second season and with Conteh in the regular formation he was promoted to Serie A. For the 2006/07 season Conteh moved to Atalanta Bergamo and 2007 to UC AlbinoLeffe . In 2009/10 he played for the US Grosseto .

Conteh was his country's national player between 1996 and 2011 .
