history

Winterbourne formed the band after three years of involvement in a black metal band, where he acted as a singer. In "KOM", as the band is often abbreviated, he plays electric guitar and bass and sings. A human drummer helped out on the first album, Demonspeed Metalstorm , as well as when participating in the Split 7 ″ EP Bonded by Hatred with a Spanish band . The drums were programmed for the current album Hail the Reaper (released in 2008). This was done by Wolfgang Czeland, among other things the producer of Papermoon or the Ausseer Hardbradler . Hail the Reaper is only available as a download , no physical sound carriers were pressed.

Musically, all three previously published titles differ drastically from each other. While the debut album still clearly swings towards Thrash Metal with influences from Black Metal , the single is very influenced by Heavy Metal . The album Hail the Reaper contains influences from hard rock and nu metal . A video clip was also shot for the song WCS .

Surname

The basis is the Roman Mithras cult, which in combination with "Key of" is interpreted as a symbol for the "key to wisdom and strength". It is not related to the definitions of Persian mythology.
