The Keytrade AG , headquartered in Thalwil is an international, on fertilizer specialized Swiss trading company . Keytrade primarily buys nitrates through its eight locations worldwide , but also phosphates and potassium carbonate in 35 countries and sells them on in 65 countries. The annual trading volume is around 3 million tons.

The company, which was founded in 1997, achieved sales of 826 million Swiss francs in 2009 with a little less than 80 employees. Since the end of 2007, the US company CF Industries has held a 50 percent stake in Keytrade.
