Khan Chittenden

Khan Chittenden (born 1983 in New Zealand ) is an Australian actor .

Life

Chittenden was born in New Zealand and only moved to Perth , Australia when he was eleven . He studied acting at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and got his first serious role in 2005 as Dean "The Edge" Edgely on the Australian television series Blue Water High . In addition to working in several commercials, Chittenden has done dubbing and starred in several short films.

After Blue Water High , Khan Chittenden signed a contract for the eight-part television series Dangerous on the Foxtel pay station. For his leading role as a petty criminal in the western suburbs of Sydney, he was nominated for the 2007 Australian Film Institute Prize. At the same time, he played alongside the established British actress Brenda Blethyn in the independent film Clubland, a son who emancipated himself from his mother through his first love. The success of that film allowed Chittenden to land a first role in an American production, Endless Bummer .

In addition to working in the film, he has since appeared in a production of Peter Shaffer's drama Equus .
