Kibwesa is a place in Tanzania on the shores of Lake Tanganyika .
Kibwesa belongs to the Kigoma district and has between 2000 and 5000 inhabitants. There are sandy beaches in the area, for example at Edith Bay and north of Kibwesa; cichlids can be seen in the water .
Kibwesa is approached by the Liemba liner .
