Kids of Adelaide
Kids of Adelaide are a German indie-folk duo, consisting of the songwriters Benjamin Jonathan Nolle (* 1988) and Severin Aurel Specht (* 1989).
history
Founded in 2010, they were mainly on the road as street musicians , which resulted in their first major performance opportunities. This was followed by the first record deal with the Stuttgart independent label Green Elephant Records and a number of appearances in the opening act by artists such as B. the Led Zeppelin front singer Robert Plant , Jamie Cullum or Donavon Frankenreiter .
The debut album Home was released in 2012 by Green Elephant Records and was u. a. presented at Puls , Radio Fritz and FluxFM . The first headlining tour through Germany followed in 2013.
After the other albums Byrth (2014) and Black Hat & Feather (2016), concerts in France , Great Britain and Switzerland (including Open Air St. Gallen ), the album Into the Less was released in 2018 by Snowy Mountain Music and Cargo Records , which is the most experimental of their albums.
