Kiedricher Turmberg

The Turmberg is a vineyard north of Kiedrich in the Rheingau . It belongs to the major Heiligenstock area.

Name origin

The name of the location is derived from the 1160 under Archbishop Christian I of book in the tower mountain next to the Grafenberg as Spur castle built Scharfenstein Castle, from which the only dungeon remains.

The 3.8 hectares large Rhinegau vineyard Kiedricher Turmberg is a south to southwest altitude, as an extension of the Taunus a slope having to 60%.

The Turmberg is owned solely by the Robert Weil winery .
