Kieth O'dor

Kieth O'dor (born April 5, 1962 in Salisbury , † September 11, 1995 in Berlin ), also Odor or Ódor , was a British racing driver . He had an accident on September 10, 1995 in a race for the Super Touring Car Cup on the Berlin AVUS (today A 115 motorway ) and died the following night in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf hospital from a cerebral hemorrhage. In the accident, his Nissan Primera skid for unknown reasons, hit the boundary wall on the left and bounced back into the middle of the lane. Some drivers were still able to evade, but not Frank Biela , who crashed head-on into the right, the driver's side, of O'dor's already stationary vehicle.

O'dor was of Hungarian descent and his correct family name was Ódor. His father, János Ódor (better known as Jan Odor, founder / owner of the Janspeed Racing Team ) emigrated to Great Britain after the Hungarian popular uprising and the invasion of Hungary by the Red Army in late 1956.
