Kiganjo is a place in Kenya . It is located in Nyeri County , about ten kilometers east of Nyeri .

Kiganjo is the location of the Kenya Police College , the main training center for the Kenyan police forces. This school produced several well-known long distance runners, including Kipchoge Keino and Ben Jipcho . There is also a dairy of the New Kenya Co-operative Creameries and a milk depot of the Brookside Milk Company. Kiganjo has a train station on the route between Nairobi and Nanyuki .

The Sagana Lodge is a state residence. The British King George VI. had given it to his daughter Elisabeth II as a wedding present. In 1952 she learned of his death and accession to the throne here, after spending the night at the nearby Treetops Hotel . In 1963 she donated the lodge to the Kenyan state, which had become independent. The Sagana Lodge was hardly used until President Uhuru Kenyatta had it renovated in 2013 to use it as a weekend residence in the future.
