Nyeri County (until 2010 Nyeri District ) is a county in Kenya with the capital Nyeri . The county extends over 2,361 square kilometers and had a population of 759,164 in 2019. 13.7% of households have electricity.

It is located southwest of the Mount Kenya massif and about 100 kilometers north of Nairobi .
