Kilian Mayer († around 1513) was a leading member of the Bundschuh movement in fiefdom .

Kilian Mayer was a fiefdom farmer. When Joß Fritz arrived in Lehen around 1512 and began to build up the Bundschuh movement there, Kilian Mayer was one of his first supporters. He took part in village meetings on the hard mat . After the news of the betrayal of the uprising planned for the immediately following period came to Lehen, Mayer initiated a meeting of Bundschuh supporters on October 6, 1513 in the absence of Joß 'Fritz. Since the mood was to the disadvantage of a survey, Mayer only made those present swear not to reveal anything about the movement. Soon afterwards he fled with some co-conspirators to Baden and from there to Seewen in Switzerland , where Joß Fritz was also staying. On the trip to Zurich he was picked up by gunmen from the city of Basel. He was subjected to torture and sentenced to death. However, at his request, the execution was carried out with a sword instead of an ax.
