Kim Do-kyoum (born March 15, 1993 in Seoul ) is a South Korean short tracker .

Career

Kim had his first international success in February 2012 at the Short Track Junior World Championships in Melbourne . There he won the gold medal with the relay. At the 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty , he won the silver medal over 1500 m and the gold medal over 500 m. He made his debut in the World Cup at the beginning of the 2017/18 season in Budapest , which he finished in fourth place in the 5000 m relay. In the further course of the season he achieved third place over 500 m and 1500 m in Shanghai and at the end of the season he reached eighth place in the World Cup over 500 m. He also came second in the relay in Shanghai and won his first World Cup victory in the relay in Seoul . At the season highlight, the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , he finished fourth in the relay. In March 2018, he won the relay gold medal at the World Championships in Montreal .
