Kim Hyo-eun (also Jenny Kim ; born September 11, 1967 ) is a South Korean diplomat.

Life

She received her BA in Political Science and Diplomacy from Yonsei University in Seoul in 1990 and her Masters from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington in Seattle in 1996.

In April 2016, Kim was appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Senegal , Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali and Cape Verde. At the end of January 2018, it was announced that she would take over the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) as Deputy General Director of the Green Growth Planning & Implementation (GGP & I) department on May 4, 2018.

Writing

In 2008 she wrote a book about the life of a diplomat called A Diplomat Must Be a Multiplayer ( 외교관 은 국가 대표 멀티 플레이어 ). Her new book entitled "Audacious Challenge to International Organizations" was published in July 2013.
