Kim Min-ji (born September 27, 1995 ) is a South Korean athlete who competes in both sprint and long jump .

Athletic career

Kim Min-ji gained her first international experience at the 2013 East Asian Games in Tianjin , where she finished seventh over 100 meters with 12.07 s and won the bronze medal in the 200-meter run with 24.25 s. At the Asian Games in 2014 in Incheon , she was eliminated in the preliminary round over 200 meters in 23.77 m and was fifth with the South Korean 4 x 100 meter relay in 44.60 s. In 2015 she took part in the Asian Championships in Wuhan , where she finished eighth in the 100 meter final in 11.80. In 2018 she again took part in the Asian Games in the Indonesian capital Jakarta , where she reached the semifinals over 100 and 200 meters respectively and finished the long jump with a new record of 6.27 m in sixth place. In addition, she retired with the relay in 46.04 s in the preliminary round. The following year she was eighth at the Asian Championships in Doha with a width of 6.03 m.

In 2015 and 2018, Kim became the South Korean champion in the 100-meter run and long jump, as well as over 200 meters in 2015 and 2020 .
