Live and act

The son of actress and court reporter Peggy Parnass came into the acting business through his mother as a child and stood in front of the camera for the first time at the age of ten. He grew up in Hamburg, the city of his mother's birth, and worked there at a young age on stages (Deutsches Schauspielhaus and Thalia-Theater). In addition to guest roles in Hamburg television series such as Gestatten, mein Name ist Cox and Hafenpolizei , Kim Parnass was already able to record a great success at the age of 15 with the leading role of the adolescent Rick in Peter Lilienthal's television play The Beginning , an initiation story about a young person between school and the beginning of professional life , which he, according to Lilienthal, conceived as a “realistic to utopian portrait of a youth” that is at the same time a “science fiction story of the soul”. Kim Parnass ended his acting ambitions in the mid-1970s with a supporting role in Lilienthal's main teacher, Hofer .
