Kim Seung-il (born September 2, 1945 ) is a former North Korean football player . With the national team of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , he took part in the 1966 World Cup in England ; Kim Seung-il played two games against the Soviet Union and Chile (both group stages) with the number "12" on his back - Kim Seung-il was not used against Italy (group stage) and Portugal (quarter-finals). In 1966 he was under contract with the Moranbong sports group . In addition, the attacker was used in both World Cup qualifiers against Australia in 1965 ; he met in the second leg to 1: 1 and 3: 1 final score.

Kim Seung-il did not appear in the documentary The Game of Their Lives in October 2002 .
