Child analysis (magazine)

Kinderanalyse is a German-language specialist journal for psychoanalysis in children and adolescents and its application in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy as well as clinical psychology and education .

It is published quarterly by Klett-Cotta Verlag and was founded in 1992 by Jochen Storck. The edition is around 1000 copies in the form of printed booklets or in digital format.

The editors are Daniel Barth, Michael Günter and Kai von Klitzing .

The focus is on theories of child and adolescent psychoanalysis, scientific research and clinical case studies in this area. She also publishes book reviews and commented on historical works. About every second booklet is a booklet focusing on topics such as “The trauma in the experience of children and adolescents”, “Infant / toddler parents, toddler psychotherapy” or “Gender identity and diversity”.
