The children railway Jerewan ( Armenian Երեւանի մանկական երկաթուղի , Jerewani mankakan jerkatughi; Russian Ереванская детская железная дорога , . Transkr Jerewanskaja detskaja schelesnaja doroga , . Transl Erevanskaâ detskaâ železnaâ doroga ) is a narrow- children rail in the Armenian capital Jerewan . It runs through the gorge of the Hrasdan River . The line opened on June 9, 1937 as one of the many pioneer railroads in the Soviet Union and is still in operation today.

Like all pioneer railroads in the Soviet Union, the railway in Yerevan was operated with the participation of children, that is, children worked under adult supervision in order to interest them in occupations in the railway. On this line, only one of the three stations was occupied. An adult always worked as a train driver. As with other former pioneer railways, this educational concept has been abandoned since the end of the Soviet Union, so that the railroad is now operated by adults as a park railway.
