Kindred of the East (German title Children of the Lotus ) is a pen - & - paper role-playing game , which in the fictional game world world of darkness is located (World of Darkness). The series was published by the US publisher White Wolf . Of pen and sword , however, only the land register was published in German.
The game comes from the "Classic World of Darkness" and describes the Asian part of the game world, whereby it establishes a vampire myth detached from the "Classic World of Darkness" game Vampire: The Masquerade and various elements of the "Classic World of Darkness" game Wraith : The Oblivion flows in.
The land register was followed by various expansion volumes in English that shed light on additional aspects of the game world. In addition, source books appeared under the “Year of the Lotus” logo that deal with Asian versions of the shapeshifters, changeling and magicians, their western counterparts in the “Classic World of Darkness” games Werewolf: The Apocalypse , Changeling: The Dreaming and Mage : The Ascension occur.
Asian vampire
Vampires in this game are restless souls who, for a reason left open, escape the torments of one of the hells and are active as walking corpses in the material world. Most of them (especially the player characters) strive for a karmic reparation for their deeds during their lifetime, which they try to achieve through certain life philosophies, so-called Dharma .
