The King Kliffs are icy cliffs with numerous rocky outcrops in the east of Thurston Island off the Eights coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . They form the south side of the longer northern arm of Morgan Inlet .
The cliffs were explored by geologists on the United States Navy research expedition into the Bellingshausen Sea in February 1960. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1970 after Charles E. King, a geologist who explored the Ellsworthland between 1968 and 1969, who also examined these cliffs.
