King Charles , actually Charles Costa , is an English singer-songwriter .
biography
After two semesters of sociology at Durham University , he returned to London in 2007 , took his pseudonym King Charles and founded Adventure Playground , a band that has toured with artists such as Laura Marling and Noah and the Whale . Since the dissolution of Adventure Playground , King Charles has been on stage under his name.
King Charles has been writing songs since he was 17 years old. In 2009 he won various prizes at the International Songwriting Competition in Nashville , including the Grand Prize in the Rock category for the song Love Lust as well as awards for the song Ivory Road in the Singer / Songwriter category and for Time of Eternity in the Performance category. King Charles plays guitar, piano and cello.
