Kinga Zbylut , born Mitoraj (born April 10, 1995 in Zakopane ), is a Polish biathlete .

Career

After some successes in youth, she became known to a wider public for the first time in the World Cup season 2018/19 , after missing points in the seasons 2014/15 and 2017/18, reaching 2 points in 2015/16 and one point in 2016/17. This season, however, she took several places in the top 40, surprising with an 8th place in the sprint in Nové Město na Moravě , leaving Dorothea Wierer behind, among others .

She then took part in the 2019 Biathlon World Championships in Östersund for Poland , but did not make it into the top 60 in the sprint, so she could not take part in the pursuit competition. With the Polish mixed relay she finished 9th.
