Kinga from Gyökössy-Rudersdorf
Kinga von Gyökössy-Rudersdorf (born April 22, 1942 in Budapest as Kinga von Gyökössy ) is the bearer of the Brenz Medal of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg and the Order of Merit of the State of Baden-Württemberg due to her decades of commitment to the rights of women .
Career and work
Gyökössy grew up with four siblings in Budapest and went to Tübingen for a year in 1965 , where she worked as a medical-technical assistant in the radiological institute. In 1972 she married the theologian and sociologist Karl-Heinrich Rudersdorf , with whom she worked on behalf of the German Development Service in Afghanistan and Yemen . Their daughter Réka was born in 1982. Sensitized through her observations in different countries, von Gyökössy-Rudersdorf continues to campaign for the rights of women in a variety of ways.
