Brenz Medal
The Johannes Brenz Medal is the highest award of the Evangelical Church in Württemberg . It is named after the reformer Johannes Brenz and has been awarded since 1992 in the “Silver” and “Bronze” classes.
Appearance
The medal designed by the Baden-Baden medalist Victor Huster shows a cross on its obverse , as well as a portrait of Johannes Brenz. The reverse shows five columns that stand for the five prelatures of the Württemberg regional church that existed in 1992.
