Frank Christian Marx (* 1978 in Trier ) is a German actor and film producer .

Life

In 1998 Marx, who grew up in Trier , made his first experiences within the framework of the Theater Trier's youth theater club . After several projects in the theater, he played in the musical Black Rider . During his acting studies in Stuttgart, he played in various productions at the Württembergische Landesbühne Esslingen . After a few productions at the Stuttgart theaters, he moved to Berlin , where he produced the theater thriller Aufs Äusserste in the Saalbau Neukölln , in which he also played the leading role. After small roles in short films, Marx played his first leading role in the independent film Somebody got murdered by German director Tor Iben. The film received the award for best film at the CinegailesAST festival in Gijón .

He was seen in the film Frau Böhm says No with Senta Berger in a small supporting role as well as in an episode of the series Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei . The RTL television film Geister all inclusive , in which he played alongside Annette Frier and Verena Zimmermann , is off. In February 2010 he was in front of the camera alongside film star Shah Rukh Khan in India for Don - The King is back .

In 2011 he founded his own film production company, Ente Kross Film . The first project was the feature film Men to Smooch , in which he both played one of the main roles and also worked on the script. With his company he shot his first politically influenced short film "The Phallometer" in mid-2013, which celebrated its premiere at the Hof Film Festival . In the same year he produced and played the leading role in the horror short film "You killed me first" by Robert Hasfogel, with whom he already worked in "Men for Smooching".
