Reviews

“The viewer feels that the thing was worked on here with a lot of fun. The tension situation offers an area of identification that is completely independent of the sexual orientation of the audience. "

- Sophie Charlotte Rieger, kino-zeit.de

“Gay life seems to have arrived at least in the center of Berlin. And gay cinema in the genre of romantic comedy. (...) "Men to Smooch" is as silly and harmless as its title suggests: a formally immature, but endearing comedy comedy with cult moments for insiders. "

- Stefan Volk, film service

"Gays, who are usually only allowed to be a pretty accessory to the actual heterosexual protagonists (...), for once, actually play the main roles here. It should be noted that this production was a matter close to the heart of the whole team. Men to Smooch is a sympathetic film - crazy and ludicrous ... "

- Franziska Felber, filmstarts.de

“The big plus of the film is that it leaves out many of the clichés of gay film and serves themes and characters that you don't often come across - at least in the gay cinema from Germany - in this constellation. (...) Conclusion:" Men to kiss "is a wacky relationship comedy about a gay couple with pretty Berlin impressions and without the usual clichés and stereotypes."

- Björn Schneider, spielfilm.de
