Luise Schnittert

Luise Schnittert (born August 21, 1984 in Berlin ) is a German actress and singer .

Life

Schnittert grew up in Berlin-Kreuzberg . She gained her first stage experience as a singer in numerous jazz bands in Berlin . She was the singer of the Berlin band The Wonderbees . With the stage band she went on an orchestral tour through Australia . After an off-theater production of the play Das Fest vom Thomas Vinterberg in the Theaterforum Kreuzberg, she decided to train as an actor. She completed her acting training at the drama school "Der Kreis" (Fritz-Kirchhoff-Schule) in Berlin in October 2008 with the stage maturity examination.

She had her first engagements at the Ratibor Theater in Berlin with the Gorillas and at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm in the world premiere of the play Zille , written by Horst Pillau . In the premiere and subsequent performances of Zille , she embodied the young singer and cabaret artist Claire Waldoff , alongside Walter Plathe as Heinrich Zille . In this production, Schnittert also sang typical Berlin Waldoff songs. From 2009 a guest performance at the Winterhuder Fährhaus in Hamburg followed . In the spring of 2010, Zille was resumed . In autumn 2010, Schnittert toured Germany with the production Zille . In November / December 2011, Schnittert played the roles of Etelka, maid and nurse in a stage version of Schwejk at the Theater am Kurfürstendamm . Afterwards, Schnittert also went on tour with Schwejk .

Schnittert is a member of the improvisation theater Berlin Die Gorillas . There she played in his youth ensemble The Gimmicks . As an ensemble member of the improvisational theater Die Gorillas she performed a. a. at international festivals in other European countries and in the USA ( Seattle , Chicago).

In 2013, Schnittert spent three months in Chicago . She performed on open stages and in jazz clubs . She studied acting, improvisation and singing at Second City, Stage 773 and at the Theater IO (Improv Olympics) . She was also a jury member at the Chicago Improv League Festival . Afterwards she performed with the Gorillas at the Impulse improvisation festival in Toronto .

For the ZDF she stood u. a. in the Lotta film series, in the thriller Der 7.Tag (director: Roland Suso Richter ) and in the 2nd season of the crime series SOKO Potsdam in front of the camera.

Luise Schnittert lives in Berlin.
