The Kingston Business School in London is part of the Center for High Performance , which consists of senior lecturers and researchers from the London Business School , Duke's Fuqua School of Business , of Kingston Business School and the University of Oxford is, and is seen as a prestigious business school in Great Britain . The European Foundation for Management Development ( EFMD ) has awarded Kingston Business School EPAS accreditation for three program groups: Bachelor in Management, Master in Management and PhD in Business. In addition, the state university has triple accreditation from the Association of MBAs for the MBA , its Masters in Business Management, Masters in International Business Management and its DBA program.

history

The origins go back to the 1960s. The business school was founded in 1970 as part of the Faculty of Business and Law at Kingston University of Applied Sciences, which became a university in 1992.

Organization and partnerships

There are five academic departments: Accounting & Finance, Business Information Technology & Operations Management, Business & Management, Leadership & Human Resource Management, and Marketing & Communication. These offer bachelor's, post-graduate and doctoral programs.

The university has partnerships with academic institutions in Europe, the USA and Asia, including a. in Russia, Greece and India, where she offers courses such as the Master of Business Administration , an International HRM program and an MA in Leadership Practice.

There are five research centers covering the Asian business in the following areas: business-to-business marketing; Employment, skills and society; Leadership and management in health care; small businesses. The university also has nine international research groups dealing with behavior and practice: business modeling and analysis, consumer research, innovative technologies, employee engagement, knowledge, process and project management, leadership and work psychology and operations.

Campus and student life

The campus is within walking distance of Richmond Park and close to Wimbledon Common. A free student bus service runs regularly between campus and Kingston Town Center, which is also not far from Kingston Hill. Central London can be reached in around 20 to 25 minutes. The campus has facilities for students, including meeting rooms, designated study rooms, numerous computer labs, a learning café and a learning resources center known as the Nightingale Center. Kingston Business School has one of the most ethnically diverse student groups in the UK. Also on campus is a hall of the residence for about 600 students, a music studio, a café, a restaurant and a bar. Sports and fitness activities on Kingston Hill include soccer, table tennis, golf and badminton. The university also has its own sports clubs and teams.
