The Kingston Frontenacs were a Canadian ice hockey franchise of the Eastern Professional Hockey League based in Kingston , Ontario .
history
The Kingston Frontenacs were founded in 1959 as a franchise of the Eastern Professional Hockey League , which was held for the first time . In this they acted as the farm team of the Boston Bruins from the National Hockey League .
Following the 1962/63 season , in which the Frontenacs won the EPHL championship title, the league was dissolved and the Kingston Frontenacs also stopped playing. A team of the same name has played in the Ontario Hockey League since 1989 .
